Product Desicpition For Digital Laryngeal Mask
The double lumen laryngeal mask airway (DL-LMA) is a type of supraglottic airway device that provides an alternative to
endotracheal intubation for airway management. It consists of two separate lumens - one for ventilation and one for gastric
decompression.
Characteristic
The key features of the DL-LMA include:
Ventilation Lumen: This lumen allows for positive pressure ventilation of the patient's lungs. It creates a seal around the laryngeal inlet, directing air into the trachea.
Gastric Lumen: This second lumen extends down into the esophagus, allowing for drainage and decompression of the stomach. This helps prevent aspiration of gastric contents.

DL-LMA include its ease of insertion, reduced risk of aspiration, and ability to provide effective ventilation without the
need for endotracheal intubation. It is considered a useful alternative to the traditional single-lumen LMA, especially in situations where gastric decompression is required.
